Hello and welcome to Week 7! This week we'll continue with our Greek/Latin Root Words and start Unit 23: . We'll also take a small poetry assessment and begin learning about the different types of conflict within literature. As always, we're working on our reading stamina with 10 minutes, daily, of free reading. Absences- If a student is absent, they are responsible for making up all missed work in a timely manner. This can be done through Canvas. Please make sure your student comes to class every day with their ELA folder, a charged Chromebook and their Chromebook charging cord. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Math - Mr. Collins

Our young scientists are doing an amazing job investigating matter and its properties. We are starting to incorporate more self-directed labs and I am very impressed with their ability to “ figure” things out. This week, we are learning about Density, and next week we will learn about solubility. It will be a fun filled week of labs and discovery. Homework – students have weekly vocabulary homework that is assigned each Monday. It is due every Friday. They are given a paper copy and can also access it through Canvas. This counts for 10% of their grade. Absences- If a student is absent, they are responsible for making up all missed work in a timely manner. This can be done through Canvas. CLASSROOM NEEDS- Please send in Clorox wipes if you are able. We need them for lab clean ups. Thank you. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Social Studies - Ms. Crosson
Greeting Aggie students and parents! This week we will bring our learning about early humans to a close. We will tell the story of how humans began farming through making a graphic novel. Then, we will prepare for our unit 1 test that is scheduled for this Friday (10/8). As always, remember to bring the things you need to be successful in class daily including your fully charged computer.
