Hello and welcome to Week 26! We're in Quarter 3: Facing Challenges. This unit asks us, "when should we stand up for other and ourselves?" We will continue discovering our answers with the start of our novel study, "Tangerine" by Edward Bloor. We're into the thick of Part Two. We are continuing with our Greek/Latin Root Words and start Unit 20: "Meet Me In The Middle." As always, we're working on our reading stamina with 10 minutes, daily, of free reading Absences- If a student is absent, they are responsible for making up all missed work in a timely manner. This can be done through Canvas. There is a message on our Canvas homepage with specific directions on what to do when absent. Please make sure your student comes to class every day with their ELA folder, a charged Chromebook and their Chromebook charging cord. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Math - Mr. Collins

Aggies Science Are your students coming home singing random songs about plate tectonics? I hope so! They have been super interested in the Lithosphere content learning by modeling, simulations, and maybe even an edible activity. This week, we will be studying earthquakes and volcanoes and students will begin a group project to be presented to the class.
ABSENT STUDENTS: Are responsible for making up missed work from Canvas. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Social Studies - Ms. Crosson This week we will explore the Mesoamerican civilizations (Olmec, Aztec, Maya, Inca).
