Hello and welcome to Week 8! This week we'll continue with our Greek/Latin Root Words and start Unit 4: "Around We Go." We'll begin talking about suspense and how to use and find it within literature. As always, we're working on our reading stamina with 10 minutes, daily, of free reading. Absences- If a student is absent, they are responsible for making up all missed work in a timely manner. This can be done through Canvas. There is a message on our Canvas homepage with specific directions on what to do when absent. Please make sure your student comes to class every day with their ELA folder, a charged Chromebook and their Chromebook charging cord. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Math - Mr. Collins
This week in math we will create Ratio Tables to represent equivalent ratios and solve problems by reasoning about graphs, diagrams, and tables of equivalent ratios. As a result, students will be able to plot ratios and equivalents on a coordinate plane and recognize their graphical representation of equivalent ratios. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Science- Ms. Parker
